The Challenge
A fast-growing SaaS company with 200 developers was releasing software quarterly due to a deeply manual, monolithic deployment process. Their development, QA, and operations teams worked in silos, resulting in frequent deployment failures (40% failure rate), long feedback loops, and demoralized engineering teams. Each release required a full weekend of manual deployment effort.
Our Approach
Gorgias embedded senior DevOps engineers and SRE consultants within the client's engineering teams for a 6-month transformation engagement. We focused on culture first, then tooling, then process — following the DORA metrics framework to measure improvement.
The Solution
Implemented GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, Kubernetes on AWS EKS for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, and Datadog for unified observability. Decomposed monolith into 18 microservices over the engagement period.
The Results
"Our engineering culture has completely transformed. We now deploy 4× more frequently with a fraction of the failures we used to have." — Marcus Johnson, VP Engineering, SaaSfast Inc.
